Harrisonburg, Virginia, February 16, 2024 – The Frazier Quarry Inc., is pleased to announce that John J. “Jack” Broaddus has been elected to the Board of Directors, effective immediately. Mr. Broaddus, a native of Harrisonburg, Virginia, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to The Frazier Quarry’s board of directors. He earned both his undergraduate degree and MBA from James Madison University, demonstrating a strong educational foundation in business management.
Mr. Broaddus served as President and CEO of Cassco Ice and Cold Storage, a prominent company specializing in ice, refrigerated warehousing, and logistics. In the early 1990s, Cassco merged with a Fortune 500 company, WLR Foods, a fully integrated poultry producer, processor, distributor, and marketer where he served as Executive Vice President of Operations and continued to gain extensive insights into operational intricacies and strategic decision-making. He later joined Sunnyside Communities as President and CEO, where he navigated challenging economic climates with foresight and determination.
Mr. Broaddus joins us with an extensive background of serving on various boards, including his current role as Chairman of the InterChange Group Board of Directors. His vast experience in board governance positions him well to contribute valuable insights and leadership to The Frazier Quarry’s board.
